Welcome to the site

Dr. Joshua & Belenda Parker, Founders

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website.

Growing up in Flint (Michigan), in a God-fearing household, attending church wasn't an option; it was a lifestyle for Josh.

As a child, Josh would imitate one of the local pastors. One day, while pretending to be filled with the Holy Spirit, the true and living presence of God took over him, and from that moment, playtime was over. This event led Josh to have a heart for reaching others with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Josh has been in the ministry for over 26 years, and he is an ordained minister.  Josh's fervent desire to teach the gospel led him to launch Gifts of the Holy Spirit Ministry in San Antonio, TX, where he currently resides with his wife, Belenda, of over 29 years, and one daughter.

Josh and Belenda enjoy traveling to Michigan to spend time with two of their other children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Personal Statement

The mandate of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit Ministry is to fulfill God’s divine plan for His kingdom on earth, walking in love, unity, and compassion toward one another.  We believe that when True Believers rise together and declare, “Enough is enough,” we can ignite a movement that changes lives.

By dedicating our time, talent, treasure, and testimony in service to God and to those in need, we become instruments of His grace.  This united effort will not only meet physical and spiritual needs but will also usher in a great revival—one that glorifies God and advances His kingdom here on earth.

Prayer for the 2026 New Year

 Heavenly Father,
As I step into this new year, I thank You for the gift of life, the lessons of the past, and the hope of what’s ahead.
Fill my heart with peace, my mind with clarity, and my days with purpose.
Guide my steps so I walk in wisdom, kindness, and truth.
Bless my family, friends, and all whose paths I cross with good health and joy.
When challenges arise, give me strength; when blessings come, keep me humble.
May this year be a season of growth, grace, and gratitude.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you, Lord!

Amen!

I am a child of God, and I will not tolerate evil influences in myself or around me.

I will have morals and a positive character.

I will put on the whole armour of God so that I will be able to stand against the devil.

I will stand having girded my waist with Truth.

I will put on the breastplate of Righteousness.

I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of Peace.

I will take the shield of Faith with me to be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

I will take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always.

No weapon formed against me will prosper.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you, Lord!

Amen!

Beginning your morning with prayer can be a powerful way to set the tone for the rest of your day.   It’s like giving your heart and mind a gentle reset — centering yourself in gratitude, peace, and purpose before the busyness begins.

My Prayer Before Starting Work

My Heavenly Father, as I enter this workplace, I bring Your presence with me.  I speak Your peace, Your grace, Your mercy, and Your perfect order into this place.

I acknowledge Your power over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls.  Lord, I thank you for the gifts You have blessed me with.  I commit to using them responsibly in Your honor.

Please give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job.  Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring You glory.

Lord, when I am confused, guide me.  When I am weary, energize me.  When I am burned out, infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit.  May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today.

And oh Lord, when I leave this place, give me traveling mercy.  Bless my family and home to be in order as I left it.

Lord, I thank you for everything You've done, everything You're doing, and everything You're going to do.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you, Lord!

Amen!
